Lagos Gears Up Again For The Simply Nigerian Fair

Lagos Gears Up Again For The Simply Nigerian Fair, May 6
One of the most anticipated events in Lagos is the popular Simply Nigerian Fair (SNF), gearing up for its fourth edition on Sunday, May 6th at the Garden Fusion Centre,10 Adekunle Lawal street, Ikoyi, Lagos. In an increasingly crowded market of fairs, the Simply Nigerian Fair (SNF) continues to stand out because of the level of organization, the calibre of the vendors, the quality of the crowd and the diversity of the offerings – food and beverage, fashion and footwear, home and lifestyle, plants and flowers, hair and body, all in one spot. This edition of SNF will boast of  108 vendors across these diverse categories. “We are very proud of our vendors. We don’t just take anybody. We screen them carefully to ensure that not only are they truly Nigerian brands but they bring excellence in terms of product, packaging and creativity,” says Temi Shenjobi, founder of the Simply Nigerian Fair. SNF has also attracted endorsements and partnerships from premier private and public sector organizations including main partner, the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment and its different parastatals. Also on board is the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), who is bringing 20 beneficiary entrepreneurs of its much-lauded empowerment program to showcase their goods at the Fair. Other key partners include the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Leadway Assurance, House of Tara, Lagos State Parks and Gardens and Style House Files, conveners of Lagos Fashion and Design Week. As always, visitors to the Fair should expect a great day out in the lush garden setting, centrally located in Ikoyi. In addition to the fantastic shopping opportunities, guests will enjoy the café area, the kid’s corner with games, snacks and more, the clowns, skaters and dancers, the great Nigerian music from the DJ and the compere skills of Dieko Gilbert of Inspiration FM. “What people always tell us is that as well as being excited by the goods on display, they have such a great time at SNF because there is so much going on, the ambiance is wonderful and it’s just a fun day out for family and friends,” says Nkiru Asika, SNF Director, speaking on behalf of fellow Directors, Linda Okome and Penelope Gobir. Since it burst onto the scene in November 2016, the Simply Nigerian Fair has been bigger and better each edition. Sunday, May 6 will surely be no exception.
