This weekend, rather than staying indoors and complaining about electricity supply, why not visit The Lagos City Suya Carnival. This will be taking place on October 1, 2017. It’s a great way to celebrate our nation’s independence, as the celebration is billed to mark the end of the long celebration of Lagos metropolis at 50.
In celebrating with Lagos and Nigeria, the event’s organizers mark the event in an attempt to register the carnival on the world map at it hopes to win Guinness World Record of 50ft long Suya steak.
The Lagos City Suya Carnival is an entirely new idea aimed at promoting tourism using Suya, a mainstream delicacy while exhibiting the good culture, food, and opportunities locked in the Lagos metropolis annually.
The mission of the event is to redefine the benefits and approach towards one of the most popular delicacies in Lagos, Suya, as well as promoting the Lagos culture.
You don’t want to miss this event taking place in a close-knit area of Alausa where the Lagos State Secretariat is situated on October 1.
