The candidates for the highly coveted position of the Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Anyigba have been shortlisted. Twenty-seven (27) people were in the race for the office but only three (3) names have been forwarded to the Visitor of the institution, Captain Idris Wada (rtd), who happens to be the state’s governor.
On Sunday, 13th of September, 2015, while speaking with journalists at the conference centre of the institution, the outgoing VC, Prof. Hassan Isah disclosed that arrangements have been concluded for the Visitor to announce his successor very soon. He added that the University had satisfied all procedures for the appointment of a new VC and that advertisements were placed in newspapers.
