Video director, Kemi Adetiba, beat other top directors including Clarence Peters, Moe Musa to emerge best music video director at the just concluded Nigerian Music Video Awards, NMVA, held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Ms. Adetiba won the award for directing Olamide’s “Sitting on the throne”. Clarence Peters won Best Cinematography for Timi Dakolo’s “Iyawo mi”.
Kennis music star, Joe-El, won “Best Video By A New Act” category for his “Oya now” song ahead of rising star, Runtown. Sammy Okposo won best gospel video for “Who Tell You Say”.
Guests were reportedly thrilled by performances from Skales, 2face, Oritsefemi, Harrysong, Joe El, MC Galaxy and Niyola.
