December 1st is only eight days away, and we look forward to who will emerge the World Boxing Council (WBC) champion. Deontay Wilder, who currently holds the WBC title, will stake his belt when he faces boxing returnee Tyson Fury in a promising bout.
Boxing analysts and experts have favored Wilder to retain his belt seeing as Fury has only just made a comeback to heavyweight boxing. However some say the latter may emerge the new WBC champion when they meet in December.
Joshua Vs ?
Whoever it is, Anthony Joshua, who currently holds the World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF), and World Boxing Organization (WBO) titles, has made it clear that his eyes are on the WBC belt, and he will stop at nothing to become the next undisputed champion of the world.
Whether Wilder or Fury, the Nigerian, who fights for Britain, must face the winner and defeat him to prove the naysayers wrong and his fans right.
The IBF will not get in the way of Joshua’s undisputed fight agenda, however the WBO retains the right to determine the boxers next fight. This means along with the choice of facing either Fury or Wilder, Joshua may also face Dillian Whyte next year.
Joshua’s next fight is set for Wembley Stadium in London, on April 13, 2019.
