Apple’s newest entry into the smartphone’s market reported the specifications of its next iPhone – iPhone 6. Its display will not only be larger, it will be so strong that one may decide to go without a case. Apple is about to open a manufacturing plant in Mesa, Arizona to build sapphire crystal screens for the iPhone 6, the report stated.
The material, Sapphire crystal is supposedly tougher and more scratch resistant than the Corning’s Gorilla Glass. Which means, starting with iPhone 6, an accidental fall may not break the screen. GT Advanced and Apple are working together to produce these next-generation displays.
The iPhone 6 will also have curved glass edges and might feature higher-resolution display, more advanced camera with optimal image stabilization and wireless charging capabilities. Reports also suggest that the device could sport a liquid metal body which would definitely appeal to its customers all around the world.
