ABOUT JAY AIMSSinger, songwriter, musician and JAY AIMS – real name JAMES ETUMUDON – was born and raised in Lagos and started out in music as a kid drummer in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Surulere. However, Jay Aims began to sing professionally in 2011 and burst into the scene with his successful wedding song “Marry Me” which was produced by Baby Bizzy – he has continued to grow in stature with massive radio support from the likes of Rhythm 93.7 and Unilag FM among others. Originally from Delta State, Jay Aims incorporates his many different upbringings into his music by singing excellently in Yoruba, English, Pidgin English and his native dialect of IKA and merging these languages beautifully into his music. An exceptional artist by all standards, Jay Aims is also the CEO of JDC Entertainment – the label which was at the helm of the 2011 release of “Marry Me”.2012 sees the release of Jay Aims’ brand new single titled “Tinkoko” via JDC Entertainment.
