International Photo Contest: Life in My City Photo Africa

Life In My City Art Festival started in 2007 to encourage artiste creativity and increase awareness regarding environmental issues. The festival is an annual celebration of creativity in Nigerian Arts and this year will make the 8th edition. With the theme ‘Less is More’, entries are being invited for Life In My City Photo Africa which will be taking place in October 2014.
The international photo contest is open to African photographers who are not more than 35 years of age by October 25th, 2014, and living and working in Africa.
Submitted works must show interesting current living conditions in the African city as seen through the lens of a photographer, bearing in mind that one of the aims of the Life In My City Art Festival is to provide a platform for young artists to make meaningful statements about their environment.
Deadline for submissions is the 17th of August 2014.
It is time to join the league of award winning photographers like Bayo Omoboriowo, Aisha Augie-Kuta, Obi Somto, Kelechi Amadi-Obi and many others.
