The Brendan Rodgers’ led side dominated proceedings from the start to finish as goals from Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans, and Kelechi Iheanacho saw them end the first half with a 3-0 lead. Vardy and Evans had gifted the hosts a 2-0 lead within the first 26 minutes of the game before Iheanacho brilliantly finished a pass from Vardy whose exceptional run from the flank saw him team up with the Nigerian for their third goal. West Brom would defend better in the second half as Sam Allardyce introduced Nigerian defender, Semi Ajayi in the second half, but all they could do is stop Leicester from extending their lead in the second period of the game.

Iheanacho’s strike meant he has now scored nine premier league goals this season, the highest he has had in a single season after scoring eight times in the 2015/2016 campaign for Manchester City. Also, the Nigerian has now scored 16 times in all competitions for the Foxes this season, his highest in a season. Eleven of Iheanacho’s strikes have come in his last eight games for Leicester City as the 24-year-old is presently in the form of his life and living up to the potentials that saw Leicester sign him from Man City in 2017.
