The only constant thing in life is change.
The use of modern day technology in various sectors of the economy (Education, Banking, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, etc.) has brought a lot of changes in terms of creativity, smooth service delivery, innovation, speed and efficiency. With regard to speed, efficiency and accuracy under the Educational sector, the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board has mapped out a strategy beyond reasonable doubt that will put smiles on the faces of their potential candidates.
For so long, JAMB UTME candidates have expressed their innermost thoughts concerning the outcome of their results, heavily criticising the efficiency level of JAMB. As the saying goes a brand is only happy when their customers are happy. To that effect, and to bring a level of satisfaction to their customers (students), the Joint Admission Matriculation Board has release steps candidates can take when dissatisfied with their 2013 UTME scores.
This process and steps came into play as a result of questions and answers collated by JAMB UTME, a proper tool for marketing. The Registrar Prof. Dibu Ojerinde of the examination board, has asked the 2013 JAMB UTME Candidates who feel dissatisfied with the outcome of their results by JAMB to apply for remarking and if mistakes are found, JAMB would compensate such candidate with the sum of N100, 000.
Procedures and steps to follow:Step 1. Go to JAMB’s office, located in Abuja.
Step 2. You are to pay an application fee of N10, 000, and a receipt would be issued to you.
Step 3. Your answer script would be retrieved and re-marked in your presence.
Once your script is marked, there are two possibilities;
1. You were given the right score by JAMB; you lose your N10, 000 and look ahead.
2. JAMB made a mistake and gave you the wrong score, this will prompt JAMB to officially apologize for their mistake, and the inconvenience they caused you, give you your actual marks obtained, and then you will be compensated with the sum of N100, 000.
Warning: The initial N10, 000 you paid is non-refundable, if you were given the right score by JAMB.
This is another way to increase the level of satisfaction, accountability and transparency from the board of JAMB UTME to their candidates.
