Kids and adults like me love it. Sometimes, when we are down, a cup of ice cream can cheer us up. Oh yes! We are that easy to please and we are not even ashamed to say so. LOL. Anyways, today, we’re making chocolate ice cream. I’m sure you’ll agree that there is something decadent about the richness, smoothness and creaminess of this cocoa flavoured treat. Chocolate ice cream is easy to make. I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised that most of the ingredients are even in your kitchen and you don’t need to make that quick dash to the supermarket. Why are you giving me that dubious look? You don’t believe me, abi? Oya, let me give you the list of ingredients: 1 Cup of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 2 Tins of Peak Milk 4 Cups of Greek Yoghurt or Heavy Cream 2 Teaspoons of Granulated Sugar 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract

Method of Preparation

Measure out the ingredients. In a clean, deep bowl, whisk milk, sugar and cocoa powder together until the mixture is almost dissolved. Set aside for later use. In another clean, deep bowl, whip the yoghurt or heavy cream until it’s so stiff that it cannot pour even if the bowl is turned upside down. Stir in the cocoa-milk-sugar mixture. Add the vanilla extract. Whip till you have a thick, smooth, well-combined mixture. Lastly, pour the mixed chocolate into a plastic container. Cover it tightly and mix for six to eight hours or overnight. Serve and enjoy. I hope you can now see that some goodies are actually cheap. Featured Image Source: Joy Food Sunshine
