And true to tradition, the hotel is rated a four-star outfit. With 132 rooms and 14 suites the hotel does not want for capacity. Among their stand out features would be the exquisite Vienna Café and event arrangements which includes the exotically named Jade Room (the boardroom) and Diamond and Pearl Rooms (conference spaces) – the former holds up to fifty guests at full capacity, while the latter two can contain up to 700 and 800 respective guests. This establishment is quite small for a hotel with 13 rooms and 3 suites but it would seem that it is a deliberate attempt to distill an exclusive experience for the guests and if the reviews are anything to go by, they have been successful. All rooms are “exquisite and exceptionally decorated” with satellite TV a wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and 3 seaters upholster chair. A complimentary breakfast is served and free WiFi is on offer as well as a well-equipped gym and a nice swimming pool. The food is excellent according to guest reviews so check the place out if you will. Lowest priced rooms begin at N17,500.

3. Adsuit Hotel

The hotel is particularly close to the Calabar Airport. If you are looking for something decent and affordable then you probably want to check it out as they have “wide range of tastefully furnished rooms which have amongst other facilities, a medium sized refrigerator, LCD television, satellite channels, wireless internet services, direct dial intercom and a self-control split unit air conditioner”. There is also free internet, a mini mart and 24-hour power supply.
