Google Begins Virtual Tour of World Cup in Host Country Brazil

The 2014 World Cup begins in a week and Google is bringing the World Cup experience to people who won’t be travelling to Brazil. Many of us will be watching on our small screens around the world. Google has launched a tour of the venues of the World Cup in Brazil online. In addition to the virtual tour of the venues, people around the world can also take a virtual walk on the World Cup themed graffiti Brazilian streets.
Google is the foremost search engine in the world, bringing user experience. Google Maps have also been updated with detailed data of the twelve host cities and indoor maps to all the venues. Impressive!
Here are a few facts about the Nigerian World Cup history:
1. The first World Cup was held in 1930 in Uruguay and Nigeria has attended four times in 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2010. 2014 will be our fifth appearance.
2. The Nigerian team, the Super Eagles got to the 2nd round stage twice.
3. The Super Eagles made their debut at the FIFA World Cup at USA 1994.
