Godwin Benson, Co-founder and CEO, Tuteria, to Speak at Connect Nigeria’s Ebusiness Fair 2017

Godwin Benson is a co-founder and the CEO of Tuteria, an online platform which helps people find tutors close to them to teach them the skills they want to learn. Benson obtained a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Lagos in 2012. He had a stint as an intern at Exxon Mobil, where he worked as an onsite support engineer and provided network support to the company’s upstream staff. After serving with the NYSC, he joined Deloitte Nigeria as an associate ICT risk advisory consultant. There he worked to detect and eliminate security risks to clients and maintain information security and control. In October 2015, Benson founded Tuteria to bridge the gap between people needing tutoring in various subjects and skills, and tutors who were willing and able to teach those skills. The platform has since gained recognition from within and outside Nigeria. Awards won by Tuteria include the Nigerian presidency’s ASO Villa Demo Day award and the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Award. It also won Microsoft’s Passion to Empire Campaign and Impact Award for Facebook and internet.org’s Africa Innovation Challenge. Godwin Benson will be sharing insights into the growth opportunities technology creates for businesses at the Connect Nigeria eBusiness Fair 2017. The Connect Nigeria eBusness fair will hold on Saturday, February 18, at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Register to attend for free at connectnigeria.com/bizfair.
