France To Support Nigeria With Cinema School Among Other Projects

The French government has concluded plans to establish a cinema school in Lagos as well as museums in various parts of Nigeria. This was disclosed by outgoing French Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Denys Gauer, during his farewell visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja over the weekend. He also revealed that the French Agency for Development (AFD) has set out a total of $2 billion to finance several projects in the country. President Buhari was full of praises for France’s commitment to strengthen regional cooperation in terms of security in West Africa. He also formally congratulated France on their World Cup Win. Recalling President Emmanuel Macron’s  visit, he added that both countries would continue to maintain a cordial relationship and improve relations that will be mutually beneficial.
