Do we need to explain how important this day is to some people? This list should help you figure out where to visit on Valentine’s Day.
1. The spa. We love being pampered and a trip to the spa is always welcome no matter the occasion. It allows you both to the luxury of relaxing, getting a massage, relief from pressure and generally being pampered in an atmosphere of love.
2. A picnic spot. Instead of heading all out to the mall, why not try a quiet spot where you can just enjoy the day without much disturbance? Pack a picnic basket full of favorite chocolates, drinks, fruits and food and go to a natural environment where you can walk, hear the birds singing and feel the sun shining. For better effect, try taking candles along and light them when it gets dark.
3. The beach. Even though so many people will be at the beach on Valentine’s Day, a day in the water with your loved one does not sound so bad. No matter how much people come to the beach, there will still be several different spots where you can just sit, talk and enjoy the sand. Alternatively, you could head into the water for a quick dip, just make sure you stay in the shallow part of the water and put on life jackets if you do not know how to swim.
4. The zoo. The cinema might sound nice if you are planning to bond with the television instead of with each other. The major aim behind Valentine’s Day celebration is to spend time together and share gifts. The zoo is a great place to go if either or both of you loves animals. Walking around, holding hands and enjoying the view of different types of animals in a natural environment has an incredibly calming effect. Plus you get to know which animals you like and which ones you’re scared afraid of.
