Fela Durotoye holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences and Economics, a Masters in Business Administration and an M.Phil in Strategic Management. He runs the Fela Durotoye Mentorship Programme, a conglomerate of different projects embarked on with the vision of restructuring the Nigerian youth orientation and training of visionary and missionary youth that will build Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Fela Durotoye has different projects to facilitate achieving a better and desirable Nigeria. They include:
1. Eden: An entertainment ministry set out to facilitate Christian lifestyle championed by Fela Durotoye on 30th September 2000 in Obafemi Awolowo University, but this project has stretched her tentacles to the University of Ibadan, University of Port Harcourt, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Olabisi Onabanjo University and University of Lagos.
2. Project RAISE (Revive Academic Excellence in Schools & Educational Institutions).
3. Visible Impact Limited.
4. Speaker’s Corner: A mentorship platform, setup to guide and give directions to many Nigerians.
5. Future Leader Programme: A mentoring project that focused on attracting young people who aspire to be great individuals in their fields.
6. YES: A platform for facilitating Youth Economic Summits nationwide and breeding a nation of global-minded entrepreneur within and outside the shore of our nation
7. True Nigeria Project
8. 24/7: This is a reality TV show that focuses on how we all can join hands to build and refurbish schools nationwide.
9. Super Speaker: Super Speaker is a TV show aimed at inspiring the nation geared towards greatness as it searches for Nigeria’s next most talented inspirational speakers.
10. GEMSTONE 2025: The GEMSTONE acronym stands for Generation that is Empowered Motivated and Stirred To Operate with National Excellence.
The GEMSTONE 2025 is regarded as the ‘divine calling of Fela Durotoye’, where he has tasked himself with the Vision that “by December 31, 2025, Nigeria will be, undoubtedly, the world’s most desirable nation to live in” and runs with the Mission to “build the people that will build the nation”.
