Jerry and Tricia: ‘A Couple Led by God’
A native of Ihiala in Anambra State, Jerry Ifeanyi is the CEO of Ocean Growth Homes, Lekki, a real estate mogul and developer. His wife, Tricia Ifeanyi, is a humble woman with a heart of gold, and together this spectacular couple derives joy from seeing the creases on the sun-burnt faces of the downtrodden and destitute unwrap into beautiful smiles with joy. Little wonder the foundation has the motto; “Putting smiles on people’s faces.” The Ifeanyis summarize their vision in one sentence: “We are led by God”.
This godly couple sees their philanthropy and intervention activities as the integral secret of their triumph in life and part of their deal with the Divine Creator. The following words highlight their vision and motivation:
“We are led by God and only do what he asks us to do and how he wants us to do it. This is just a non-profit organization driven by my wife and its passion to effect positive change in society and reach out to the less privileged as far as we can go. This foundation is being sponsored by Ocean Growth Homes Integrated Company, Ocean Growth Villa Garden.”

Anyiego Foundation: A Few Examples
- Mrs. Chinwe Ezenwata, a 45-year-old widow with four children between the ages of nine and fifteen, who were left destitute after the death of their father. At the moment of utter despair, she got connected with Anyiego Foundation and after a deep analysis of her position, Chinwe was rehabilitated and empowered by the foundation. She is just one of such several hundreds of widows who benefitted from Anyiego Foundation’s interest-free loan empowerment scheme for widows.
- Many destitute and overdue patients who have resigned to begging on the roads for alms to eat and buy medicines or have been in the hospital for months and would not be allowed to go home even with their sickness have testified to AnyiEgo foundation’s impact. Often times, the foundation has walked into the hospitals and these arenas to ‘save the day’. For example, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala, has experienced the foundation’s kindness. Hospital bills of some patients have been requested and paid in full. This is in addition to the fat envelope, a bag of rice and several other beverages and food items that always follows this line of action.
- Education-friendly foundation that exhibits a commitment to lifelong learning. The foundation has been ever open and ready to listen to other people and sincerely pay attention to learn something new. They have also donated many books, novels, novelettes, magazines, and gazettes and several instructional materials to schools all over Ihiala and beyond.
There are human angels…Jerry and Tricia Ifeanyi and the Anyiego foundation epitomize that.
