EU Team Arrives Nigeria to Advice on Flood Management

A team from the European Union has arrived Nigeria on a 10-day mission to Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, and other parts of the country to advise officials on flood management and control, and to assist Nigeria this year to avoid the sort of flood devastation experienced in 2012. The experts came on invitation by Nigeria through the European Union, EU, Civil Protection Mechanism. The EU mission in Nigeria will host and provide them with data and other resources in partnership with the Government.
