Nigerian footballer, Oghenekaro Etebo, has sealed a one-year loan move to Turkish Super Lig side, Galatasary, after having a successful medical on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at the club. Etebo who is going on his second loan spell since joining Stoke City, spent the second half of the 2019/2020 season with Spanish La Liga side, Getafe. The 2018 FIFA World Cup star has expressed delight at joining the Turkish giants.

It will be recalled that an impressive display with the Super Eagles at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, earned Etebo a deal with English Championship side, Stoke City. Financial details of Etebo’s loan deal have equally been made public by Galatasary which shows a buy option at the end of his loan spell in Turkey.
Professional football player Oghenekaro Peter Etebo and Stoke City Football Club Limited have reached an agreement on the temporary transfer of the player until the end of the 2020-2021 season. Accordingly, a temporary transfer fee of 675,000 Euros will be paid to the football club. According to the agreement made, our company has the option to purchase the player for a transfer fee of 7.500.000 € during the lease period.
