Elective General Assembly of CORA/Arterial Network Nigeria to Hold in September

This year’s elective general assembly of CORA/Arterial Network Nigeria will be held at Whitespace 58 Raymond Njoku Street, Ikoyi, Lagos on Sunday, 13 September 2015 at 2 p.m, according to an official statement by the national coordinator, Ayodele Ganiu. Arterial Network is a dynamic, pan-African civil society network of artists, activists, organisations and institutions engaged in the African creative and cultural sectors. Operating across 90% of Africa, Arterial Network is actively engaged in strengthening the creative sectors and utilising arts and culture to contribute towards sustainable development. Arterial Network is represented in Nigeria by CORA Art and Cultural Foundation(CORA). This year’s general assembly will achieve the following: 1. To receive and adopt reports on preparations for Nigerian delegation to the 2015 Arterial Network African Creative Economy Conference (ACEC) and the 5thArterial Network Members’ Biennial Conference in Yaounde, Cameroon. 2. To elect a 10-member National Steering Committee that will lead the network in Nigeria for the next 2 years.   NOTE : 1. Only duly registered members of Arterial Network in Nigeria are eligible to vote and contest for elections at the General Assembly. Duly registered members are those who have submitted their membership data update forms with soft copies of their passport photos. 2. Members who are yet to submit their data update forms and non- members who wish to join the network and participate in the General Assembly proceedings are advised to download the data update form HERE and submit with soft copies of their passport photos. 3. Completed data update forms and photos can be submitted via email attachment to: ayodele@cora-arterialnigeria.org The guidelines for election nomination process will be announced shortly.
