DJ Spinall is back again with more from “The Cap” in his 3
rd studio album titled “dreams”.
I remember when I heard DJ Spinall’s “Gba Gbe E” where he featured Burna boy; the song stayed on repeat for quite a while. There’s something about DJ Spinall’s music; he always brings in the right artist and producers for each track to create a monster jam.
In his latest album release, dreams, Spinall does just that again, merging the right artists for just the right songs and creating a listening experience worth the while.
The ten-track album starts out with
“Thinking About you” ft Niniola, playing a lot to her strengths which starts out the album on a pretty good note.
Track two saw Wurld come in with
“Lifetime” where we hear a couple of ear teasing lines;
The album continued in pretty much the same level of dopeness with Ycee dropping the wavy track feeling for us on
“On a low”;
Wizkid came on
“Opoju” and did justice to the dancehall beat with jazzy melody from a lot of horns;
For a more emotional and soulful track, we see Simi step into the plate on the track titled
“Don’t let me go”;
With Ohema ft Mr. Eazi being one of the best songs from his last album, Spinall had Eazi step in with
“Calm down”, a classic afro beat song with a very catchy rhythm;
The album ended with Olamide’s featured track
“Gimme Luv” after Davido and Wande Coal teamed up to deliver in
“Olowo”, Harrysong jumped on a calypso groove in
“Hanky Panky” and Reekado Banks was on
“Buddy”
All round, the album is a good listen with tracks for everybody – from the guys on the streets to the guys off them.
