If you do take your children to Abuja, then here are some places to keep in mind:

National Children’s Park and Zoo, Abuja

If your child is a nature lover, then this is the right place to bring them to. The park has a zoo, playground, and perfect spots for picnics. The zoo has a range of animals such as monkeys, horses, a Donkey, Buffalo, and a hyena. Walking around is enough to tire them out at the day’s end. You can also get horse riding activities on weekends. The entry fee is affordable, but if you decide to do a photo shoot there, they will charge an additional fee to the gate fee.

Splash Water Park Abuja

If you want to have fun with the children, then this spot is perfect for you. It has a swimming pool, water slide splash pad, playground, and picnic area. This leisure water park’s participation fee is the same for both adults and children. The access fee for parents who don’t want to swim is affordable, plus the place is also ideal for picnics. The scenery is lush and great for pictures.

Maitama Amusement Park

This Park offers a few rides such as the Ship, Train, Cup, and Horse carousel ride. Note that some rides cost extra besides the affordable entrance fee. So, ensure you carry extra money along with you. There is also a café, boutique, and Suya spot, and the service there is highly commendable. It is usually open from Thursday – Sunday at 2 to 8 pm. It is a magnificent spot to spend quality family time.

Play World

The beauty of Playworld is that it is not only for kids but even young adults can have fun at this spot. Get ready to bounce, flip, twist, and jump on trampolines. Children can also go wall climbing here while adults can play basketball on a trampoline. There is a virtual reality spot and private cinema for adults. And after all the fun, get a meal at the indoor food court. If you are visiting, then you can sign up to get the day tickets. But if you live in Abuja, then you can pay less by becoming a member.

Valor

You can find the Valor Game café in different locations in Abuja. But the one we are interested in is the gaming center that is a part of City Park in Wuse. This is a gaming spot that has a range of games, such as FIFA 2021, VR, and GTA. The duration of each game determines the cost of playing there. They also have a playground which you will need to pay to gain access to. You can also get popcorn and ice cream for the children while you are there. These additions make this spot children-friendly.

BMT African Garden

This spot has a zoo, a swimming pool, and a playground for children. Accessing the Garden is free, and children can run around the premises. But Swimming, using the playground, and visiting the zoo attract different fees per child. So though entry is free, you may need a loaded wallet to use the facilities in the vicinity. There are also restaurants in this space to get something to eat as well.

Twinkle World

This place is particularly for children even though adults can have a pleasant time here too. It has inflatables, a playpen, a kiddies train, and trampolines. There are inflatable pools, bouncy castles, an obstacle course, a football pitch, and a ball pit. Colourful Large-sized building blocks, plastic slides, and toy cars are also available for toddlers to play with. There is also a food stand with drinks and meals to replenish lost energy from playing hard. It is a fun place for those who love being outdoors.
