The film productions of Nollywood veterans Desmond Elliot, Emem Isong, Ishaya Bako and Clarence Peters have been shortlisted for the 2015 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) Awards. The festival is currently holding– from 8
th to 15
th November – in Lagos, Nigeria.
Desmond Elliot’s films
While You Slept, One Fine Day and
Reflections have been placed in the AFRIFF Best Feature Film category, along with Emem Isong’s
Champagne and Ishaya Bako’s
Road to Yesterday.
Categories include Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Documentary, Best Feature Film, Jury Special Prize for Outstanding Film, Audience Choice among others.

According to the organisers, several submissions from across the world were made this year, as “more filmmakers are beginning to embrace digital technology to deliver content that entertains, engages and delights”.
