The Connect Nigeria 2nd Writers’ Conference is less than 24 hours away, and we can hardly wait for the start of what will be a phenomenal event.
The first of its kind took place last year with awesome writers such as Abiola ‘Champ’ Salami, Ike Nnaebue, Deji Badmus, Lekan Otufodunrin, Adaku Ufere, ‘Seun Salami and Okechukwu Ofili in attendance. They gave us all great advice on the ups and downs of writing, and ways of using our talent to source a profitable business. There was great interaction in the atmosphere, and everyone left the room with memories of a day well-spent.
The delightful Chibuzor Mirian Azubuike was also present at the conference in 2014, but simply as a humble attendee. A year later, she is the proud author of a book titled “The Girl Who Found Water”.
The inspiring story is based on the experiences of a young National Youth Service Corps member who made a difference in a Northern Nigerian community.
