The year will definitely end with a bang for African boxing fans, as Nigeria’s
Chinedu Okeke gears up to face United State’s of American veteran naval officer, Prince Shawn Mikel Hamilton, in a Heritage Boxing Entertainment (HBE) middleweight international championship bout.
The fight, sanctioned by the Legend Boxing Foundation (LBF) — one of the world’s boxing associations — will take place on the
30th of December 2018, at the Ifeanyi-Ubah Stadium in Nnewi, Anambra State, and fans can expect to be blown away by the level of fight both men will bring to the ring.
According to a press release by the promoters of the fight, Heritage Promotions, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah, owner of Capital Oil and Gas, opted to sponsor and host the event in Nnewi.

In July 2018, Okeke faced Senegalese boxer, Abdulkareem Ba, in a middleweight international bout and defeated him to become the Intercontinental Champion. It is on the wings of this victory that the Nigerian will take on Shawn Mikel Hamilton in December.
Speaking on his meeting with the American, the Nnewi indigene is quite assured that he will emerge victorious over his challenger.
