CHAN 2014: Odunlami Kunle, Christantus Ejike, Rabiu Ali Named Among Best Eleven Players

Despite falling short of glory, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have something else to smile about besides the consolation of a third place win. Three players from the Eagles have been honoured with the inclusion of their names in the top eleven players of the tournament. Defender Odunlami Kunle, Christantus Ejike (midfielder) and Rabiu Ali (striker) have been named in the best eleven of the African Nations Championship.
The bronze-winning Eagles also picked up the fair play award alongside a prize of $250,000. Enugu Rangers’ Christantus Ejike who dazzled and shone like a star during the competition took home the coveted Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the competition.
