Get ready for the biggest reality show in Nigeria, as a celebrity-focused reality show called
Celebrity Housemates, is set to hit the screen from the January 12 to February 11, 2018.
The stage is set for the twelve celebrities that would be participating in the thirty-day show, many of whom would serve the viewers a dose of unscripted fun and entertainment. The contestants who have been carefully chosen from different spheres of the entertainment industry (comedy, acting, and music) would be placed in a house and would undertake series of daily challenges and tasks for the period of four weeks. It would be shown on an hour daily show on Nation Terrestrial TV and cable stations and also would stream live on the scheduled online platform for 24 hours.
Themed “Convergence of Culture, Lifestyle, and Entertainment”, the show is described by the executive producer of the show as a show that is aimed to bring together Nigerian culture, lifestyle, and entertainment.
Celebrities are given a larger than life perception by their fans and audience, forgetting that they are also human beings. The show is interested in creating a platform that would allow fans to engage, connect, and take a peep at the life of thefavoriteite celebrities.
Emmanuel Ikubese, Yomi Fash Lanso, alongside Funky Mallam, Doris Simeon, Ruggedman would be participating side by side with Muma Gee, Ada Ameh, Peggy Ovire and would be competing for the cash prize of N7 million. Others include Bolanle Ninalowo, Eniola Badmus, Ogenna Ekwubiri and Frederick Leonard, who would also battle for the first prize. The first prize winner is mandated to donate N2 million to two charity organizations. Cash prizes are also to be won by other contestants.
