Terra Kulture, since its existence in 2004, has been an active promoter of the richness and the diversity of Nigerian Arts, Culture and Languages. For the past ten years, it has served as the No. 1 one-stop centre where Nigerians and Foreigners can come in to learn about the Nigerian culture and its most prominent languages.
Well known for its art gallery and exhibitions, in ten years, Terra Kulture has featured the works of over 80 percent of major young Nigerian artists. The centre has also organized over 200 art exhibitions, seven art auctions, ninety plays, sixty book readings and has had over ten thousand adults and children attend its language classes and excursions.
Terra Kulture’s remarkable success is as a result of the opening of its doors to all interested and involved in the development and the promotion of Nigerian Arts and Culture. It is the major cultural hub in Nigeria for students, Hollywood and Nollywood stars, artists and foreign nationals.
Over the years, Terra Kulture’s exceptional success has been recognized nationally and internationally. Among its awards, recognition and accolades are the Alder Top Social Media Brand 2014 Award as Social Media Overlord Arts and Culture, ranked 35 out of 50 of the fastest growing companies in Nigeria by the Allworld Nework and the Tony Elumelu Foundation, received the Ford Foundation grant to set up its Art and Culture project, being selected as a case study for the Lagos Business School’s MBA Course and a Mentor Recognition Awards by Idea Builders.
