CBN Cashless Card Expo 2015 to Hold This June

Intermarc Consulting Limited will host the 15th edition of Africa’s most anticipated Card Expo 2015 Conference and Exhibition with special focus on Card, Mobile, Identification and Payment. The event will take place at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, from June 23 to 25, 2015. This year’s event has been themed “Innovation: The Future of E-Payment”, with a specific focus on the future of payment, the assumption that underlines growth potentials and how innovation will drive the process. Top card and e-payment experts will be present at the event and are scheduled to share inside strategies on positioning and enhancing card businesses. There will also be insightful panel debates, all centered on pressing issues on cards, mobile payment, MPOS, NFC, BVN, Square Me, ATM, EFT, eGovernment payments at federal and state levels, utility payments etc. There will also be Demo Sessions for pitches by young developers of brilliant, original and innovative payment technologies. A prize of N250,000 will be given to the four best pitchers. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) are also partners to the event. Nigerian Central Bank Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele is set to speak at the opening ceremony of this event and CBN Deputy Governor, Mr Sulaiman Barau, at the closing dinner.
