Business Events - Propak West Africa

Our selection of business events for the month of September covers some of the year’s most anticipated conferences and exhibitions. They include the biggest gathering of representatives from packaging and printing industry brands; a high profile fashion show; and a real estate event organized by a forward-looking property firm.

There’s also a big trade show for food products, a major gathering of agribusinesses, and an event for the digital services sector.

Africa Fashion Week gives upcoming Nigerian fashion brands the platform they need to reach a wider market. It’s one of the more keenly anticipated fashion events in the country. But it does have a following beyond Nigeria, partly because it also targets diaspora designers, and organizes an equivalent of its Lagos event in London.

Attendees will get a glimpse of what Nigeria’s fashion scene currently looks like, and perhaps, a glance at its future trends as well.

Date: Saturday 15 – Sunday 16 September

Venue: National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.

Industry players in the private and public sector- including leading real estate companies, regulators and investors -are expected to be part of this; they will be driving robust discussions about the state of the sector, and prospects for its future.

We can expect a good deal of brand marketing and networking at the event as well.

The Lagos International Food and Beverage Fair is an opportunity for manufacturers and vendors to exhibit their food and agricultural products to the public. There will also be workshops for small-scale entrepreneurs which will get them in touch with regulators and will furnish them with the information they need to successfully run their businesses.

This mammoth fair could attract over 15,000 visitors and potential shoppers to its stands. But it does have a fitting venue for its size, one that adds a bit of a festive touch to it.
