According to him BCAN in collaboration with the state government approved the uniforms, which will have badges, name tags, and identification numbers for registered conductors which will be for easy identification.
While explaining the necessity of wearing uniforms and name tags, Adeshola said it became imperative so as to ensure safety of duly registered members and also members of the public.
He added that with the vital information on the badge, any conductor involved in criminal activities can easily be identified and apprehended. This is to ensure the safety and protection of lives and properties of Lagos state citizens. He further stated that the aim is to make conductor’s job attractive, respected and dignified and also for Lagos to be the starting point for it to be accepted in other states.
