So, you and that guy have been friends for a while now and you so wish you could be more than friends. He’s just the man you want to spend the rest of your life with, and he enjoys your company, but unfortunately he doesn’t seem to see you as more than a friend.
You already know it’s generally not a good idea to lay your heart down by making the first move. He’s got to do the chasing. The question is, how do you get him to want you as more than just a friend; to want you for keeps? Get a copy of Steve Harris’ From Friend to Fiancee and find out!
Apart from the obvious appeal of the title, the main reason I picked up this book is the number of reports from young women who have tried the secrets this book reveals- apparently they actually work!
Steve Harris’ goal when he set out to write this book was to help fantastic ladies who have met the man of their dream get him to see them as more than a “good friend”, “buddy” or “spiritual sister”- without appearing to be doing so.
Equipped for this task first by virtue of his being a man and knowing what works in that world, second by having had his heart stolen by his wife (or forever fiancée as he likes to call her) and third by having helped many young women move from friend to fiancée in his role as life coach, Steve Harris delivers an insightful, practical, easy to read volume. You can actually finish it in one day, but I do not recommend that you do so. The gems contained in this book are best read slowly and deliberately to be fully absorbed.
I found this book totally refreshing. To get the best of it, engage your imagination; I suggest you paint a real life application picture of each tip as you read along. For instance, the tricky task of learning the balance between being friendly and flirty (too friendly, you’re his lil’ sister, too flirty, you’re a slut). How do you plan to master this? What are you going to stop or start doing?
When I met my husband I wasn’t looking to “get” him to propose marriage at all, but by unwittingly doing just what this book says to do, I upgraded from friend to fiancée-lightning speed! Get your copy and post a comment here when you’re done reading; let’s know what you think. Enjoy!
