Woohoo!!! This sure was a long week but thank God it has finally come to an end. Weekends are basically a time to take a break and relax, even better if you have fun itineraries planned. For me I just get to stay in and catch up on all the sleep I missed (yep I like sleep that much) .
But this weekend is going to be different though. If you are in Lagos then a lot of fun stuff is happening that you wouldn’t want to miss out on especially in the movie scene.
Ok, so there’s this new movie buzzing titled
Banana Island Ghost. The movie by the way has inspired an ice cream flavor also called ‘Banana Island Ghost Flavor’. It’s a mixture of sweet cream, banana, cinnamon and a crunch of Graham Pie Crust; wow that’s something. Also the cast in this movie is another push why it’s a must see. It features Chy gurl, Bimbo Manuel, Uche Jumbo, Saidi Balogun amongst others. Scratch sleep I’m definitely going to watch this to see what the hype is all about. Plus what’s better than watching a movie and at the same time taking a cold creamy, yummy ice cream with the same name? Uh can’t think of any.
Another movie that’s been really and I mean really buzzing is
Hakkunde. Heard it’s filled with drama and is comedy packed., Now after a stressful week that’s sure a good way to unwind and laugh away the stress. The hype should be worth it though; we have Seyilaw, Frank Donga, Toyin Aimakhu-Johnson and Ali Nuhu so we can agree is going to be an exciting movie.
If you’ve not already made plans and looking for something entertaining and interesting, you probably should take a trip to the cinema this weekend. Enjoy your weekend, cheers!
