Baker Hughes, a subsidiary of General Electric (GE), is looking to recruit qualified candidates for its internship program. As part of the program, it will train deep-water subsea engineers, with in-class sessions and on-the-job learning.
This training will last for 12 months. Baker Hughes has designed it for persons with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering. They will gain insights into the systems and processes involved in subsea engineering. The knowledge and skills they gain through the program will prepare them for a successful career in the energy industry.
Participants will work with a manager, and will undergo technical training. They will collaborate with a team, and get mentored in practical projects.

Eligibility
The Baker Hughes Ignite Graduate Internship program is open to persons who meet these criteria:
- Completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in an Engineering discipline
- Finished from university with at least a Second Class Upper grade (or its equivalent)
- Be fluent in written and oral English
- Completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program
