Enterprising comedian and film producer AY showed his compassionate side when, on return from his first movie shoot in Atlanta, USA, he donated a Toyota Solara to Project27 Africa – a rural child NGO based in Lagos.
Receiving the keys to the car, President of Project27 Africa, Uncle Speed, said, “We can’t express our deepest appreciation enough to AY for his thoughtful generosity.
“With his donation, AY has demonstrated a deep commitment to the happiness of kids in rural Africa, the category of children Project27 Africa caters for. And there’s just no way to fully express our gratitude. We only hope going all out to more rural areas and making much more rural kids very happy would help us communicate our very big thanks to him.”
The vision of Project27 Africa is a rural Africa populated with happy educated children. The project takes children in rural Africa (27 at a time) on free education and fun tours to places they would not otherwise be able to attend, especially because of financial difficulties.
At Project27 Africa, the target is to take 27 million children (from rural areas in Africa) on free education and fun tours by May 27, 2027.
