Startups interested in deep tech, hardware, and advanced technologies will be supported through the Timbuktoo HealthTech Startup Accelerator, which is focused on key areas such as AI-driven diagnostics, locally manufactured medical devices, and biotechnology designed to address the health needs of Africa.

To be eligible for the program
- The program is open to founders of startups who are nationals of African countries.
- The startup must be registered and operating in Africa.
- The startups must have been operational for at least one year.
- The startup must be able to address development challenges.
- The solution must be technology-based.
- The startup must have a regulated Minimum Viable Solution (MVS) (and licensed if necessary).
- The startup must have an existing corporate governance system and accountability.
- Only citizens of African Union member states can apply for the program.
