The scholarships are designed to build human capacity for Africa and develop leaders who can drive sustainable development on the continent. This is in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which are a guiding principle for TU Delft. For the 2022/2023 sessions, TU Delft | Global Initiative is offering four scholarships to qualified students from sub-Saharan Africa. The scholarships will cover a two-year MSc program.

Scholars who are selected for this program will benefit in the following ways:- Tuition fees and living expenses will be covered for programs that are related to the UN SDG and TU Delft | Global Initiative
- Gain knowledge vital for development in the coming years from a world-class faculty
- Develop capacity that can be leveraged upon to accelerate sustainable development in their home countries
- Become a TU Delft ambassador for sub-Saharan Africa

Eligibility
To be considered for the scholarships, intending applicants should meet these conditions:- Be a citizen of a sub-Saharan African country
- Achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 80% for their undergraduate degree (at a recognized university in their home country)
- Gain conditional admission to the MSc program at TU Delft
- Have an MSc thesis topic related to the SDG and TU Delft | Global Initiative
How To Apply For The Scholarship
Persons who intend to apply for the scholarship can follow these steps to do so.- Check the TU Delft to determine that they are eligible for the scholarship
- Visit the MSc application portal and complete their application
- Upload the Scholarship application form
- Upload two reference letters in one PDF document
- Upload a certificate for an English language test
