  In a bid to ensure that young people become part of the operations of the United Nations and also to encourage sustainable and accessible tourism, the organization is announcing the United Nations Tourism Internship. International students will be considered for the internship based on their qualifications and requirements.

Candidates selected for the United Nations Tourism Internship will be able to apply for other job openings after a tough hiring process that considers the educational background, prior foreign work experience, and language proficiency of applicants.

Features of the program include:

  1. It is fully funded.
  2. Participants get a monthly stipend of EUR 500 to help with the cost of transportation while in Spain.
  3. The UN will assist with the visa application process.
  4. The internship can last for one year.
  5. Provision of a competitive and appealing compensation plan.
  6. Easy onboarding process through an induction program.
  7. Medical insurance that caters for dental and medical expenses in every part of the globe.
  8. Holidays (a maximum of 30 days of paid time off annually)

To be eligible for the program:

  1. You must be a citizen of a UN member country.
  2. The applicant must be enrolled in or have completed a university program.
  3. The applicant must be the holder of an all-risk insurance policy that is good for the whole internship.
