Launched in September 2021, the fellowship is run by Professor Milner Gulland, the Tasso Leventis Professor of Biodiversity at the Department of Biology at the University of Oxford, and her team at the Interdisciplinary Center for Conservation Science. Fellows will get the chance to engage with researchers at the University of Oxford, and benefit from the training and resources that the university provides through the program.
Benefits
Representatives of NGOs, businesses, and governments selected for the fellowship will benefit from it in the following ways:- Have the opportunity to interact with researchers at the University of Oxford, gain insights from the cutting edge research being done at the institution, and build their skills and capabilities.
- Spend three months at Oxford, attending training, networking, and writing papers.
- Have access to the resources and opportunities available at the university.
- Network and create new global collaborations.
- Spend their fellowship at any Department of the university, provided that their project is focused on conservation.
- Receive support and training before and after their time at Oxford.

Eligibility
Applicants are expected to meet these conditions to be considered for the fellowship:- Be a senior member of staff at an NGO, business, or government, or
- In the early stages of their career and would like to benefit from the academic offerings at the University of Oxford
- Be willing to devote three months to the program
- Eager to develop new strategic approaches to biodiversity conservation and build valuable partnerships
