Applications Open for AFC BRACE Program for Agripreneurs

Scholarships for African Students

  African Food Changemakers (AFC) says it is now receiving applications for the second cohort (batch 3) of its ‘Building Resilience against Climate Change and Environmental Shocks (BRACE)’ program. This initiative exists to inform and educate agripreneurs about the effects that climate change has on their business. It will also equip them with the knowledge they need to successfully adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

BRACE is a hybrid learning experience, incorporating training, peer learning, interactive sessions, and practical applications. In the end, the organizers say they hope to help bring about positive change in Africa’s agricultural space, with their target being the adaptation of businesses in the industry to climate change, and the future thriving of such enterprises.
