App of The Week: Keke On The Run 2 – Nigeria’s Addictive Runner Game
Samuel Okoruwa
Does this play a picture in your head? A game character running and dodging various obstacles in its path. This was the concept Temple Run, Subway Surfers, and the likes popularised.
A Nigerian adopted this concept and today we have a Game called Keke on the Run 2.
Meet The App: Indigenous Theme Sound and Simple Interface
The app has a very simple interface in the sense that user options are boldly displayed and well arranged. One of the most intriguing aspects of the game is the melodious African theme sound playing in the background. This sound will be familiar to folks who are very conversant with Nigerian Movies.
The game provides four kinds of settings you can drive through (Forest, Beach, Bridge, 4th Mainland) of which three are locked (forest being the exception) until you can acquire a certain amount of coins for each of them.
There are also four kinds of Kekes you can drive with (Classic, Pitch Black, Speed ‘O’ Matic, Frozen) of which three – apart from ‘Classic’ – are also locked and have to be opened in the same manner like the settings. Once you’re done with choosing these game features, you can start gaming. The challenge you have to face by guiding your Keke through various vehicles and objects makes the game both an exciting one.
Getting The App
The app is available on Google Play Store at a size downloadable size of 38 Megabytes. It is compatible with android versions from 4.0 and above.
