Angel Fadahunsi is the SERVICOM Nodal Officer and National Tax Payer Advocate at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). She works to promote excellent service delivery at the FIRS by driving effective engagement with Nigerian taxpayers.
Fadahunsi holds an LL.B from the University of Jos, and a B.L from the Nigerian Law School. She also has a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University. She has raked up over 20 years of work experience taking in stints in fields ranging from international development to manufacturing, banking and energy. Fadahunsi has taken up positions in customer relations management, administration, financial analysis and team leadership, in the private and public sector.
Before being appointed to her current position at the FIRS in 2012, Fadahunsi was the organization’s head of Learning and Development for two years. She has also worked with Shell Nigeria as its learning and development advisor, and with Beloxxi Industries as its head of administration. In these roles, she actively implemented organizational strategies for human resource management and development. She has held positions in other establishments and agencies as well, including Diamond Bank, the Ministry of Health, and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Fadahunsi will be speaking at the Connect Nigeria eBusiness Fair 2017. She is expected to enlighten participants on the innovative ways by which businesses are able to pay their taxes and work with tax authorities in order to contribute more to the economy.
