The ALX Founder Academy is a 3-month program built to help aspiring founders acquire the knowledge and skills they need to successfully run their startups. It features expert-led workshops, video tutorials delivered by several African founders, fireside chats with experienced startup operators and investors, and office hours sessions. Participants also get assigned weekly deliverables to enable them to remain on track to launch their Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and get their first users.

Graduates from the Founder Academy are eligible to apply to ALX’s accelerator program, which prepares enrollees for investment, and potentially makes them eligible for investment by the upcoming ALX Ventures Fund.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet these criteria:

Be aged between 18 and 34 years
Of African origin
Intend to become an entrepreneur
Willing and able to commit 15 hours per week to the 3-month program
Haven’t raised significant funding or gotten sizeable revenues yet
