Ahmed Musa Joins Turkish Super Lig Club

  Super Eagles of Nigeria captain, Ahmed Musa, has joined Turkish Super Lig side, Fatih Karagumruk, a move that has marked the end of his second stint with Nigeria Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars.

It will be recalled that Musa joined the Sai Masu Gida in April 2021, after being without a club for five months after leaving the Saudi Professional League side, Al Nassr on October 25, 2020. His deal with Kano Pillars outlined that he will leave once he gets a club abroad, an opportunity presented by Fatih Karagumruk. The news of Musa’s new adventure was made public by the club through an official statement.

‘We have added the 28-year-old Nigerian attacker to our squad. He played for clubs such as VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and Leicester City in his career. He scored 15 goals in 87 matches for the Nigerian National Team. Musa will now be looking forward to his time with the Super Lig outfits. The Nigerian national team captain will also be looking to use the experience gained from playing in European countries like England, Holland, and Russia, in helping his new club triumph.
