This year’s edition of the African Creators Summit, which is the first of an event that will take place annually, is themed “Building a Sustainable Content Ecosystem, Nurturing Collaboration, Diversity, and Ethical Practices in the Digital Age”. Sessions at the summit are expected to revolve around these concerns and will illuminate much of the Nigerian creative scene, laying it bare for enthusiasts and players alike. This event is organized by Kings Obi and Oladapo Adewumi, both experienced talent managers. They, along with the event partners, are joining forces to curate an experience of the African creative scene that will inform, educate, and impress attendees. As part of the summit, there will be engaging keynote addresses delivered by prominent figures in the creative industry. The audience will be treated to insightful discussions and commentary on the art and business of creating in Nigeria from highly placed professionals and experts. Panel sessions will explore creativity trends, in ways that will benefit experienced and emerging talent alike.

There will also be hands-on workshops facilitated by experts in a variety of creative fields—visual art, content creation, brand management, and more. Creators will get the chance to showcase their work, whether it’s film, design, music, technology, or other creative fronts that warrant the public’s attention. In addition, there will be opportunities to connect with like-minded persons who are involved in the creator economy: entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and engaged enthusiasts. Conversations could revolve around any number of artistic themes and may lead to important working relationships. This setting offers a high likelihood of forming valuable ties and setting up fruitful collaborations. Attendees will get the chance to pitch their works to major industry players and explore possible partnerships with them. At the dedicated summit hub, participants will be able to view some of the most exciting new outcomes at the intersection of technology and human creativity. These will include virtual reality and a range of applications of Artificial Intelligence.
