In their bid to cause a disruption in the market, Breach is set to transform the art of writing on the internet. The app allows writers on the continent to write, edit, publish and share their work.  Having identified the technicalities involved in developing quality written pieces, Breach has stepped in to create writing communities that can teach each other and learn together, while supporting themselves in their creative journey.

The platform will also offer editorial assistance to creators, while helping them share and promote their articles. This will facilitate quick response and an effective feedback system for their write-ups. In order to ensure good writing quality, Breach will be assessing the proficiency and experience of writers interested in joining its platform.  Typically, the platform will build communities of writers who share their creativity with one another, and get immediate feedback on their work. According to a Breach executive, there will be a smooth transitioning for writers from Substack or Medium to Breach. This way, writers can check out the platform without being affected.

“This means that creators don’t miss a beat by switching from other platforms to ours. It also means that creators can initially try out our platform while still maintaining their lists on their other websites. All of this is to say that migrating to our platform is a smooth, nothing-to-lose process,” Breach said.  The platform is also out to solve mitigating problems with other content writing platforms. For instance, African writers find it difficult to get paid on Substack, since their payment platform, Stripe, is not accepted on the continent. Since it will be a platform by Africans and for Africans, Breach promises to be a worthy alternative.  Featured Image Source: Benjamin Dada
