Video of the Week: Unconfirmed Number of Abducted Dapchi Girls Return

A number of the 110 school girls – that were reported to have been kidnapped from Government Girls’ Science and Technical College, Dapchi in Yobe State – have been released. The news was reported on Channels TV. So far, a total of 105 girls and a boy have been documented. The girls were released early on Wednesday after being kidnapped from their Secondary School weeks ago. The whereabouts of the remaining 5 girls is still unknown. The senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, narrated to Channels TV that the girls are now with the Secret Service.
