Victor Moses Retires From The Super Eagles
Victor Moses had retired from international football in order to focus on his club career at Chelsea. He did this after 37 caps for the Super Eagles. Moses scored a total of 12 goals over a six-year period and actively played in Nigeria’s most recent World Cup campaign in Russia, which ended in a group- stage exit. He made his retirement known on social media.

Singer BlackFace Sues Banky W and Wizkid For Intellectual Property Theft
Former member of the Nigerian hip-hop and R&B music group, Blackface, has sued singers Banky W and Wizkid for intellectual property theft. The singer claims his song, “like the way”, was replicated by Wizkid on “Slow Whine” off his Superstar album. Blackface revealed the lawsuit filed by himself as the Plaintiff – with Empire Mates Entertainment Limited, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (A. K. A Wizkid) and Olubkankole Wellington (A. K. A Banky W) as the defendants – on his Instagram page.
Acting President Osibanjo Orders Immediate Overhaul Of SARS Operations
Following the persistent complaints and reports on the activities of SARS, which bordered on allegations of human rights violations, Acting President Yemi Osibanjo, has directed the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to immediately overhaul management and activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
As instructed by the Acting President, the Inspector General of Police has overhauled SARS and appointed a new police commissioner as head. Read the statements below:
