Amplify is a project birthed by a partnership of TheZVG and the MasterCard Foundation. It’s a creative intensive program, in which fellows are enabled to give voice to stories around the COVID-19 pandemic coming out of Africa. Between 15 and 20 fellows will be selected for the program. They will be trained and mentored in content creation and media, and have their stores published on the COVID HQ Africa website. They will also receive a $500 monthly stipend for the duration of the fellowship.

Eligibility
The Amplify HQ team seeks applicants who meet these conditions:- Reside anywhere in Africa (applications from the diaspora may also be considered)
- Be a writer, photographer, videographer, graphic artist, animator, or storyteller
- Have samples of their work and a visible presence on social media where their works are displayed
- Be willing to devote between 6 and 8 hours every week to Amplify activities
The Lead-Up To The Fellowship
Applications remain open until Wednesday, October 6. Following the close of applications, the HQ team will select fellows. Applicants will be notified of their status (whether they have been selected or not) on October 11. The fellowship will take place over two months, from October 15 to December 15.
